The Workshop will be held June 29th 10-4 and 30th 10-1, (out just in time to attend the Summer CGC Picnic). This Workshop will be held at Steve Provence’s Studio.

The Workshop is $60.00 for Members and $70.00 for non Members. We already have 8 artists signed up. There is room for a max of 12.

“My forms are influenced by Japanese folk-tradition pottery and fired mostly in Japanese-style anagama kilns. Surface treatments are designed to cause minor disruptions to the flow of the flame around each pot and thus influence the deposition of ash and the patterning on the surface of the pots. Although my focus is on anagama-fired pottery, the forms and techniques that I will demonstrate can be applied to any firing process.” ~ Ted Ernst

We had a glorious workshop with Stephen Mickey on Feb. 19-21, 2016. Thanks Stephen for teaching us your throwing techniques – you are a master potter and a master teacher!
