Ron Roy is a teacher, consultant and studio potter from Ontario, Canada and an expert in everything related to glazes. He is co-author of “Mastering Cone 6 Glazes,” a “best seller” book on glazes. For many years Ron wrote the technical column for Ceramics Monthly Magazine. Ron has an extensive course developed for us that includes an analysis of glaze materials and clays, the use of oxides, glaze defects, glaze testing and safety. Each participant will receive a 32 page digital copy of Ron’s course book. You are also welcome to bring recipes of glazes that need fixing. Participants can follow along with their own computers, if you wish.
